Vintage 1930s Wedding Dress (Style #1933)

To achieve the graceful, flowing sweep of the 1930s, we have created a somewhat sheer, all lace gown, worn over a bias cut silk charmeuse "slip."

The lace gown is cut with princess seams that extend into a full circle to create the popular "trumpet" flare, and sleeves flute softly around the shoulder to become a dramatic flounce in the back.

The sweetheart neckline can be highlighted with an inset rhinestone band, pearls, or a beautifully simple silk binding.

The effect of this gown would be fabulously enhanced by adding the romantic sparkly of rhinestones and the shimmer of delicate lines of iridescent glitter echoing the patterns in the lace. (See the fabric enhancement section on our order form).
