The Colonial Ball Wedding Gown (Style #1750)

Our highly detailed Colonial Ball gown is perfect for a Georgian period wedding. This sumptuous dress is lovely as a ball gown or as a wedding dress.

In keeping with the colonial styling of the Georgian period, we offer the dress in either an Indian silk dupioni, a brocade, or, when available, a silk/rayon Chinese tapestry brocade. The sides and back of the bodice and the overskirt are made of that fabric, while the underskirt and sleeves could be made of a choice of several different laces, one of which is a custom-embroidered net.

The "stomacher" and lapels of the skirt are either bridal or duchesse satin and are trimmed with white, silver, or gold braid stitched in a delicate meandering pattern, and then accented with handmade silk or satin roses (matching in color or soft pastels). The bodice is constructed in a corset-like fashion with boning and lacing up the center back. Lined in china silk.

Colors available: silk white, white, ivory, white/silver, ivory/gold, and blush pink, when available.

PRICES:
- Brocade or Silk Dupioni: $1,825
- Silk/Rayon Chinese Brocade: $1,875
