The Restoration Wedding Gown (Style #1707)

Our princess wedding gown is styled from the romantic dress of the Restoration Era. It can be made of one of several brocades.

We think this princess wedding dress would be especially stunning with a silk/rayon Chinese tapestry brocade for the bodice, sleeves, and overskirt, and a lace of custom-embroidered net for the underskirt and sleeve flounces.

The bodice is constructed like a corset with boning and a center back lacing, and the design lines are highlighted with satin bias. Satin ribbon rosettes accentuate the sleeves and skirt draping. Lace also trims the neckline, and richness is added to all the laces with hand-sewn pearls.

This gown is particularly suited for adding to the "Cinderella effect" by having the fabrics further embellished with rhinestones and delicate lines of shimmering iridescent glitter (ask about our fabric embellishment). Lined with china silk.

Colors available: white, ivory, white/silver, ivory/gold.
